Dr. Jacqueline Kumar
Author, Empathy Expert, Ph.D. & Transformation Specialist (Jacqueline@rkleadership.ca)Dr. Jacqueline Kumar is a philosopher and empathy researcher specializing in emotional intelligence, moral psychology, and the practical application of empathy in high-pressure environments. Her work focuses on how empathy functions under stress and how it can be used effectively without leading to emotional overload, people pleasing, or burnout.
Drawing on her research, she developed a three-stage process of empathy – self-awareness, perspective-taking, and action oriented response that helps individuals apply empathy with clarity and intention, rather than at the expense of themselves.
She works with high-performing individuals and teams to transform empathy into a source of clarity, strength, and self-respect. Rather than viewing empathy as an emotional liability, Dr. Kumar teaches how to use it as a grounded, performance -supporting capacity – one that allows individuals to lead, relate, and make decisions without losing themselves in the process.
